Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using Credo. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Last updated: April 26, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you ("you", the customer) and Credo ("we", "us") governing your use of the Credo web application and related services. If you are using Credo on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Notify us promptly at support@credoapp.it.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Credo to send spam, harass, or impersonate others.
  • Attempt to break, reverse engineer, or probe the service for vulnerabilities outside an authorised disclosure programme.
  • Resell access to Credo without our written permission.
  • Use the AI reply feature to generate misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content.
  • Send review requests to people who have not agreed to receive them, or in violation of applicable communication laws (including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and equivalents).

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the business information, customer details, and review responses you create through Credo. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content as required to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any customer data you give us.

5. Subscription, billing, and free trial

Credo is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Pricing for each plan is listed on our website. New accounts may receive a free trial, after which a paid subscription is required to keep using the service. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Settings page; your access continues until the end of the current billing period and we do not issue prorated refunds for partial months unless required by law.

We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will always be told before their renewal price changes.

6. Third-party services

Credo connects to third-party services like Google Business Profile and Anthropic on your behalf. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms. Credo is not responsible for outages, data loss, or policy changes by those providers, but we will make reasonable efforts to keep integrations working.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are used fraudulently, or create a security risk for the service or other customers. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, we will delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

Credo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated reply drafts are suggestions only; you are responsible for reviewing and editing them before publishing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid Credo in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or lost reviews.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Credo against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of a third party's rights.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you a different forum.

12. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
